Inuyasha

I didn't think I would ever find an animated series that I could love as much as my favorite three: Scooby Doo, Inspector Gadget and Sonic the Hedgehog. Then I found Inuyasha! I flicked the channel to Adult Swim late one night and started watching this crazy scene of Inuyasha burying Kaede before he went out to fight Yura of the Hair. I thought "What is this crazy series?" and after watching a couple more episodes I was hooked. My favorite character is Kikyo by far, and then probably Inuyasha himself. Even though I love Kikyo, I think in the end Inuyasha should end up with Kagome. I love the series for its deep themes and amazing characterization, espeically the brilliant inner confilcts each character carries. I also love the look of the series - lush, delicate and cinematic. It combines action, romance, comedy and even horror together seamlessly. I have to admit, though, that I lost interest in the series after the first three seasons, but that doesn't diminish my respect and love for its original concept.
