Sonic SatAM

I'm a huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan. I fell in love with him from the very first time I picked up a Sega Genesis controller (I was eight years old)! When I was little, I watched the SatAM every Saturday morning (back when they actually showed cartoons on Saturday Morning). I am not very happy with where Sega has been going with Sonic lately, but I am a true blue fan and will always be so. Sonic is one of my 3 "all time favorites" next to Scooby and Inspector Gadget! I think the Sonic backstory and especially the SatAM/Archie story line is great fun, and it teaches kids the importance of having to work to defend freedom: a group of animal freedom fighters fighting a uber-evil techno-genius who is threatening to rule their entire planet (which is actually Earth in the future). It is the darkest of all the Sonic incarnations and Dr. Robotnik is so evil and nasty in it. Robotnik is one of the best cartoon villians ever - he has to be because Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the coolest cartoon heros ever.
